Arms Opening and Closing Breathing Exercise
Begin with the starting position and then lift both arms to the level of your shoulders with palms facing each other. Separate the hands while inhaling to a distance of two-shoulders’ width; close the hands while exhaling until they are one hand length apart. The torso should drop and knees bend a little. The backbone should be up straight and the chest neither sagging nor protruding.
This exercise is especially good for your respiratory system and your heart. Try to wave your arms like the tail of a fish. Imagine that there is a balloon between your hands. The balloon expands when you inhale and it contracts when you exhale. At the same time, the belly contracts while opening hands and it expands while closing hands.
