Playing with Waves Breathing Exercise
Begin with the starting position. Inhale while lifting both arms by the sides of your body to the shoulder level with palms facing ahead. Continue the arm movement with elbows bending and palms moving towards the ears. Then exhale while pushing the palms forward at shoulder level. Protrude the centers of your palms a little at the end of the pushing, but not exert your elbows. Turn the palms facing each other, lower the arms and return to the original pose. Breathe in a little while doing so. Repeat cyclically for eight to thirty-six times.
This exercise is good for your heart and lungs. It can also strengthen the tendons of your hands and arms. Remember, do not protrude your chest or pull in your lower back while lifting your arms. Also, do not lean forward while pushing.
